1. Do your executors know the location of your current original (not copy) Will?

2. Does the current Will accurately reflect your wishes?

3. Is your marital or de facto status still the same as when you made your last Will?

4. Are your executors and alternatives still the preferred choices to carry out your wishes?

5. Are the witnesses to your Will different from the beneficiaries in your Will?

6. Did you make changes to your Will freely and without pressure from anyone?

7. Have you properly documented the reasons for excluding beneficiaries or nominal gifts to avoid family claims?

8. Are all the beneficiaries still alive and are there new alternatives like grandchildren?

9. Are all the estate assets and liabilities properly described and locatable?

10. Have you appropriately gifted specific, joint, or overseas assets?

11. Have you catered for issues like pets, funeral, donations, superannuation etc?

12. Have stamp duty implications for your beneficiaries been adequately considered in your Will?
